why use eyetracker Eye tracking is an innovative research technique enables the researcher to get a detailed understanding of what a respondent is looking at, with a depth of understanding that is impossible via normal research techniques.

Depending upon the brief we currently use both "real world" and fixed or screen based eye tracking systems. The two types of systems are as follows:

The Mobile Eye ("real world")

The mobile eye is our real world eye tracking solution which has been successfully used in many different environments. The eye tracking technology is incorporated onto a pair of lightweight, inconspicuous glasses, to allow a full range of head movement and consequently natural behaviour in any situation. The mobile eye is ideal for use in any “real world” scenario.

Eyescreen (static,fixed or screen based)

The eyescreen is a portable, lightweight mobile eye tracking system, that can be used on location or in a studio. It records the users’ eye movements while they look at a screen, interatcting with with advertisements, video, television commercials or packaging designs.

As well as tracking respondents as the look at a computer screen, it can also be used in conjunction projected images to simulate a virtual shopper environment.
